Drilling Powder Polymer (DCP-85) Polymer is a higher molecular weight powder polymer containing partially hydrolyzed polyacrylamide/ polyacrylate (PHPA) copolymer, is used primarily as a viscosifier and borehole stabilizer to prevent reactive shale and clays from swelling and sloughing.
